We were proud and excited to be invited to host this most informative session of the COPRA Virtual Conference - Chapter 14.
In our recent session, we focused on the innovative concept of Smart Rolls and the numerous benefits this design approach offers within COPRA RF. Smart Rolls provide an intuitive, user-friendly, and remarkably swift method for roll tool design, streamlining processes and enhancing productivity for our users. This session highlighted how adopting Smart Rolls can significantly reduce design time and complexity, allowing engineers to concentrate on what truly matters—creating efficient and effective roll tools.
Adding to the excitement was my introduction to BricsCAD, an alternative CAD system that will be supported from 2025 onward. After using AutoCAD for over 30 years, transitioning to this new 2D CAD platform was a revelation. I was pleasantly surprised by its similarity to AutoCAD, making it an easy switch for someone with my background. Moreover, BricsCAD offers a more cost-effective solution without compromising on functionality, making it an appealing option for many users.
