Having attended World Class Roll Forming seminars hosted by the FMA in previous years, it was truly an honour for data M UK to be invited to speak at the 2023 event held in Elgin, IL.
In this presentation there is a breif overview of how software takes your roll design to the next level, followed by a practical example. Through the practical example, we see how software offers many benefits to the roll form tooling designer, by not only allowing the validation of the flower pattern and approach, optimising the design but also finding hidden problems within the design that would otherwise be impossible to identfy without the use of FEA software.
